Handmade Wooden Cane - CANE5PI

Canes and walking sticks are made the same way.  Both have 4 inches of threaded rod connecting the handle to the cane.  The difference between canes and walking sticks are:

• Canes are load bearing.  They can be leaned on.
• Walking sticks are not load bearing.  They are basically for show.

Both can be shortened for the user.  An end-cap should be added to reduce slipping and for weather protection.  End-caps can be found at any local hardware store.

Please note:  If not identified as a cane, treat as a walking stick.
