The RX-9 SD has an FPS increase at every available poundage and draw length over the RX-8, all while being lighter and containing a smoother draw cycle. This is thanks in part to the updated limbs, pockets, and riser geometry. The main thanks must go to the HBX cam, though, which contains a truly optimized module system that makes certain no energy or performance is lost in translation. The RX-9 SD squeezes every bit of power out of each draw length and weight that it possibly can.

The updated riser design also contributes to perhaps the most “dead in the hand” carbon bow that has ever been produced. Other carbon bows take pride in their ability to reduce the classic hand shock that comes with carbon compound bows, but the RX-9 SD blows past “reduce” and straight to “kill.” The hand shock isn’t just lessened, it is gone. This ensures a comfortable and repeatable shot sequence for however long you find yourself in the field.
